Health Promotion Advocates is advocating that the provisions
below be included in all health care reform legislation.
Sources of legislative language addressing each of these
provisions are listed below each provision. All provisions
in the Senate are in the HR 3590, Patient Protection and Affordable Care
Act and the Managers Amendment which were passed in the Senate on
November 24, 2009. All provisions in the House of
Representatives are in HR3962, the Affordable Health Care
for America Act, which was passed on November 7, 2009.

8. Allow employers to offer employees a premium discount
