Don earned degrees from Colorado State University (B.S.) and the State University of New York at Buffalo (Ed.M. and Ph.D.). Most recently, prescription ambulance Don was the Dean of the College of Health Sciences at West Chester University of Pennsylvania, nurse and held that position for 15 years. He retired from that position in 2012, and is currently consulting in the area of health promotion. Prior to being a dean at West Chester University he was a professor and chair of the department of health and wellness at Buffalo State College. He has been an author, advisor, panelist, and presenter on a wide variety of health and education related issues throughout his career. He serves on several non-profit boards in addition to Health Promotion Advocates.
